Installation for Hidden Door Festival, 2018
A scale model of the cinema I used to visit as a boy. The cinema used to stand in the town of Welkom in the Goldfields of South Africa. It was built mainly from memory.
The cinema signage, replicated in bigger scale was installed using light-boxes.
Light-boxes are A2 and the footprint of the model is roughly 650mm x 700mm.
