Oratino, Ohio
Short film made on residency in Italy with artist Morwenna Kearsley.
Inspired by Oratino’s history of migration in the 20th Century to countries such as America, Canada and Argentina, the film is entitled Oratino, Ohio. The film attempts to explore themes of duality, dislocation and separation through cinematic tension. Black & white shots of Oratino are interspersed with audio from American baseball, excerpts from letters and abstract sound recordings.
